2003, the SCBCC has made
great strides in establishing
our
Goals, Plans and
Purposes….Our Chamber is 23
years strong.…
In 2007 SCBCC had a
Ribbon Cutting
Ceremony Opening our first
“Open to the Public
Office”,
fully equipped… Our Fiscal
position is well documented
and
the SCBCC Board of
Directors are ‘all’ Prominent
African
American Business
Owners/Persons….
SCBCC provides
Biz Net working Mixers,
Power Lunches on the Quarter,
Scholarships, Profiles in
Excellence awards and
annually nominate
an African American
Business to receive West
America
Banks “Spirit of Solano
Award”…During Election years we sponsor
a Candidates Forum along
with co-hosting the
Martin Luther
King Parade each year
with the local Chapter
of the
NAACP…SCBCC is a member of the
Vallejo Business Alliance
and we
participate in the annual
4th of July Parade...SCBCC
publishes an 8 page
“quality” news Letter 3 times yearly
distributing 1,500 copies
throughout Solano County
and the
Bay Area.
SCBCC target for 2009/2010 is to “Make a Foot Print, Be Accountable & Community Centered”.
